Cookie policy
This site sets no cookies. Here is what is actually stored on your device when you browse it, and how to control it.
Our principle
This site sets no cookies at all: no advertising, no tracking, not even functional ones. We use no audience measurement tools, build no browsing profiles and share no data.
Fonts are hosted on our own servers: no request is sent to Google Fonts. The only outside service is the Google Maps map, which stays switched off until you allow it.
This page exists all the same, for transparency: it sets out precisely the little that is kept on your device.
Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a site and sent back to the server with every page. Local storage (localStorage) is different: the information stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
We use only this second mechanism, and only to remember your display preferences. Nothing leaves your device, and nothing identifies you.
What is stored on your device
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
uce-theme | Remembers the light or dark theme you chose. | Local storage | Until cleared |
uce-lang | Remembers the language you chose. | Local storage | Until cleared |
uce-consent | Remembers your consent choices. | Local storage | 6 months |
uce-loader-seen | Avoids showing the loading screen again during your visit. | Local storage | Session |
These four entries are strictly necessary for the site to work and serve no other purpose. As they are not cookies and never leave your browser, they do not require your consent.
Third-party services
Google Maps
The map of our address is provided by Google. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect your IP address, under its own terms. That is why the map stays replaced by a preview until you allow it; the “Get directions” button works without loading anything.
No other third-party service is embedded: no social network, no embedded video, no ad network.
Manage your preferences
The only choice to make concerns the Google Maps map. It is kept for six months, then asked again. You can change it at any time:
